Client Set Up

Before we begin your project, there are a few quick setup steps to ensure we have everything needed to hit the ground running. This page will walk you through how to securely share access to your platforms — including Mailchimp, your domain host (GoDaddy, Squarespace, etc.), and Meta Business Suite for Instagram and Facebook ads.

We use LastPass, a secure and encrypted password manager, to safely receive login credentials without ever needing to see your actual passwords. For Meta access, we’ll send you a request directly through Facebook that you can approve with just a few clicks.

LastPass

To keep your login information protected, we use LastPass, a free and encrypted password manager. With LastPass, you can share access to your platforms (like Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, etc.) without ever revealing your actual password.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Create a Free LastPass Account (or sign in if you already have an account)

    • Visit lastpass.com and sign up with your business email. You can use the free version — no need to upgrade.

  2. Add Your Logins to Your Vault

    • Log into LastPass

    • Click the browser extension icon or go to your Vault

    • Select “Add Item” → “Password”

    • Enter the platform name, login URL, username/email, and password

    • Click Save

  3. Share Access With Us

    • In your Vault, find the login you just added

    • Click the “Share” icon (or right-click → “Share”)

    • Enter our email: christina@themodelmedia.com

    • (Optional) Check “Allow recipient to view password” if needed

    • Click Share

We’ll receive secure access and can get started right away — all without storing or seeing your login info.

Meta Business Suite

To give us access to manage your Facebook and Instagram business accounts, you’ll need to add The Model Media as a Partner in your Meta Business Suite.

This allows us to securely manage your assets (like your Facebook Page, Instagram, Ads Manager, and Pixel) — without needing your password.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. You’ll receive a notification from Facebook/Meta

    • Check your email or Facebook notifications. It will say: “The Model Media is requesting access to your Facebook Page / Instagram / Ad Account.”

  2. Go to business.facebook.com/settings/requests

    • You must be logged into the Facebook account that owns your business assets.

  3. Click the “Received” tab

    • You’ll see the access request from The Model Media.

  4. Click Approve

    • You’ll be asked to confirm which assets (Page, Instagram, Ad Account, etc.) to give access to. Please approve all requested assets with full access so we can manage your marketing successfully.
